Coffee & Cleanup
Join us for a Coffee & Cleanup on the Lansing River Trail at Maguire Park in Lansing to help trim back overgrown brush along the trail. And, as always, pick up any trash we may find along the way. Meet at the Maguire Park parking lot (https://goo.gl/maps/EmaH8Ccfo2ZjrATZA ) at 9am to enjoy some complimentary hot coffee, head out onto the trail, then meet back at the parking lot by 11am to return any borrowed tools.
Yardwork gloves are highly recommended.

FLRT Board Meeting
The next meeting of the Board of the Friends of the Lansing Regional Trails will be on Tuesday, May 9th. The meeting will be held in-person at Foster Community Center and virtually. Ingham County Trail Stakeholder Input Meeting
Ingham County is updating its trails and parks comprehensive report. The County is asking park users to share their opinion to help shape the future of trails in Ingham County. Take the online survey at inghamcountyparksurvey.com.

Join the REO Town Commercial Business Association on Saturday, May 22nd as we walk the neighborhood and surrounding river trail and pick up trash. Help us keep our neighborhood beautiful!

Adopt a River 2021
Join the Lansing Board of Water & Light and Impression 5 Science Museum for the annual Adopt a River event. Wear your FLRT volunteer shirt and help keep the trails clean for all to enjoy! Pre-registration is required, and more information can be found at impression5.org
As a participant, please:
- Bring your own gloves for clean-up
- Enjoy a complementary water bottle to be filled at the tap.
The following COVID-19 safety protocols will be enforced:
- Masks required
- Max group size of 10 people
- No day-of registration
- No lunch or environmental fair
Earth Day Trail Cleanup Extravaganza!
Join FLRT and Lansing Earth Project in honor of Earth Day for a day of service, benefitting the Earth! We are partnering with Lansing Earth Project again to make an impact on the trails along the river in Downtown Lansing!
There will be 2 clean up hubs stationed at Rotary Park and in Old Town to grab your supplies and get started. This is a perfect opportunity to get together with friends outside and stay socially-distanced, while doing something good for the environment!
***We do ask volunteers to please wear a mask when at the clean up hub and when in a large group. We look forward to seeing you there!
